After completion of a technical degree as Electrician, Carlos started his professional career as Field Electrician in the oil & gas industry (PETROBRAS) for almost 2 years.

Following this first experience, Carlos then continued his education and obtained a MSc Degree of Engineer in France.

In 2015, he joined CAP INGELEC, headquarters. In the position of Project Manager and HV Specialist for 6 years, Carlos actively participated in the development of HV expertise within the company, performing several types of electrical studies, passing on and promoting technical knowledge among colleagues in all national agencies. As example of main projects, Carlos did the design, construction and complete commissioning activities of turnkey datacenters (e.g. 5MW IT and 9MW IT) as well as several HV/MV substations.

In 2020, Carlos joined the former DT&EG team within INTERXION (today Digital Realty), global carrier-neutral datacenter provider. As Senior Electrical Engineer and Design Manager for 3 years, Carlos oversaw various projects in Europe: multiple 20MW DC buildings, several 80-200MW campus, and every HV/MV substation designed and built in his time within the group. He also contributed to ensure datacenter service continuity, providing technical support to Operations (RCAs), as well as R&D activities chasing innovation).

In 2024, Carlos created Triphaz Engineering, born out of passion for power systems and wish to help stakeholders to better control their projects and facilities.
